This past week has certainly had its ups and downs, not only in the crypto-universe but here at VibraVid as well. We ran into some issues during our upgrade to the latest version of Mongodb, essentially rendering our development environment servers useless for a few days — thankfully the team has found the problem(s) and they are being addressed. Things like this create a lot of stress in our working environment, as we all understand that losing days add up to long term setbacks. We’ll be back on track within a few hours.

On a more positive note, we’ve recently welcomed Priyadarshi Parida as VibraVid’s new CTO. Priyadarshi’s extensive background includes15 years of experience in Banking, Telecom, Security, Internet and HealthCare software Development using a myriad of technologies with domain Software sectors for Enterprise Applications. Priyadarshi has already made himself comfortable as a part of the team, and has began bringing many ideas and protocols to the table. With that being said, we will be updating our team page at www.beatzcoin.io to reflect our new CTO, as well as all of the developers involved in the project.

As some of you may already know, VibraVid wallets are currently out of sync. We have constructed a replacement syncing mechanism that is currently in testing. We are aiming to have the wallets back in full sync within the next 1–2 weeks. In the meantime, you can always check your public address on www.tronscan.org for more accurate account information. We appreciate your patience and understanding in this regard.

A registration issue was very recently brought to our attention, where users are unable to register new accounts. We had a meeting this morning, and will be resolving the issue as soon as possible. Please know that Google login and logging in via an existing account are working just fine.

On another positive note, the erc20 to Matic (completely decentralized) swap-engine has completed testing. We are now adding the GUI, and expect to have the engine live in approximately 2 weeks. This will mean that erc20 BTZC holders will be able to move tokens between Ethereum and Matic side-chain with ease!

In cooperation with Syscoin funding and development, we recently released our airdrop announcement. You can read more about that HERE. We look forward to further building on Syscoin, taking advantage of their decentralized, secure, and near-instant technologies.

Stay tuned to our Twitter and Telegram for upcoming announcements! Be sure to follow our Medium, and see you here for next week’s update!
